We sold 119 head of cattle at our January 9, 2025 sale. Weather conditions being what they have been and the call for light snow Thursday afternoon, most consigners opted to wait till our next sale on January 16. Couple of small consignments of calves bring $1,575 and $1650/hd, respectively. Weigh up stock was a pinch higher. As of Friday (Jan. 10) noon we have 1,200/plus head on the books for next week’s sale. Call myself or any one of fieldmen to consign.

Cows: Top slaughter cow: $128.00 cwt. Younger lighter open cows: $160.00 cwt. to $180.00 cwt.

Bulls: Top slaughter bull: $150.00 cwt.
